Jill- I know you said you were taking a break from blogging. I just wanted to say that I miss your descriptions of your life and adventures. Your blogings were a great start to my day. The pictures are awesome - as everyone has said....but I miss your added words. Enjoy your break from Anon critizism but please come back to the rest of us - who enjoy your blogging...soon!
Jill, your photos and life are an inspiration. Thanks for blogging. Keep working on your friend who has become consumed by work. Eventually, he will come back around to what is important in life. ~Missoula Sheephead
If you started uploading your pictures to flickr, I think you would have quite a following. They really are getting ever-more fantastic as time goes on.
Don't jump! When you reach the top of the mountain, keep climbing.
Stunning pictures, rich content. I'd love to read a thematic book distilled from your blogs. Is there a center to all of your adventures and solitary miles?
Hiya Jill; As always you've got some great pics; good on ya, mate.
Just ignore the trolls, and don't let them get to you. While you are out enjoying life and LIVING, those nasty folk are hunched over their keyboard 20 hours a day trying to find someones life to make as miserable as their own. Fortunately, they won't succeed with you and Geoff.
If you need any colourful parrot pics to help brighten your day, you know where to look (I've got some cool ones up).
Thanks all. I'm just taking a short break from the aggressive journaling. It's been refreshing actually.
Doctor S. - The trail starts just outside downtown Juneau. I made it to about 2,200-2,300 feet before the possibility of avalanche danger and my lack of an ice ax to arrest potentially disastrous falls turned me back. All the mountains in Juneau are like this, dropping straight into the sea. That's why the summer hiking here is so epic and good mountain bike trails are almost nonexistant.
About that link ... I haven't updated my blogroll in a long, long time. But I'll try to get around to it soon.
