Super photos! You should get a stipend from the Alaska Tourist Bureau. I may have to get tickets to Alaska soon to soak up some of that spectacular scenery.

I had a shitty time in the last weeks and this post brought a big, massive smile to my face. Powerful images. Thanks for sharing these. As you said it is hard to put their beauty into words.
How far down the ridge did you get? I'm pretty familiar with it and was just curious as I was thinking how beautiful it would be up there just the other day. Also - please tell me you have spent some time learning about avalanche danger. We've lost too many good people in the mountains, especially those who go up alone in winter. Super nice photos! Thanks.
The photos are exquisite. I choose one to grace my desktop on a regular basis, and today it was almost impossible to make the choice! For the record, I can't decide which I enjoy more: your writing or your photography!
